Legal Basis for Cookies

- Marketing and tracking cookies: Processed under Section 11(1)(a), with the express, voluntary, and specific consent of the data subject, as required by Section 69 for direct marketing.

- Right to object (Section 11(3)): Object to the processing of your personal information on reasonable grounds
- Right to object to direct marketing (Section 69): Object to the processing of your personal information for direct marketing
- Right not to be subject to automated decision-making (Section 71): Not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing
- Right to complain (Section 74): Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator
Cross-Border Transfers
In accordance with POPIA Section 72, we disclose that some of the cookies listed above are set by third-party services whose servers are located outside South Africa, primarily in the United States. We ensure that any cross-border transfer of personal information complies with POPIA by verifying that the recipient is subject to a law, binding corporate rules, or binding agreement that provides an adequate level of protection comparable to POPIA.
