What this app does

Map My Customers Calendar Sync is the Google Calendar feature of Map My Customers. It removes double entry for outside sales teams by keeping meetings and activities consistent between the CRM and each rep's calendar, so their day is accurate wherever they look.

Two-way activity sync

Meetings, calls, and tasks created in Map My Customers are written to your Google Calendar, and events you create on your calendar come back as activities, automatically.

Tied to the right account

Synced events are matched to the account, contact, and deal they relate to, so your activity history stays complete without manual logging.

No double entry

Schedule a visit once and it shows up in both places. Reschedule or update it and the change is reflected on both sides.

Private by rep

Each rep connects their own Google account. Admins and teammates never see anyone else's calendar.

Open Calendar Settings

In Map My Customers, go to Settings, then Personal, and choose to connect your calendar.

Sign in to your Google account and review the access Map My Customers Calendar Sync requests. You can disconnect at any time.

When you connect your Google account, Map My Customers Calendar Sync requests only the access needed to keep your calendar and CRM activities in step. Each permission maps to a specific job in the product.

calendar.events View and edit events on your calendars. Creates, updates, and reads calendar events so activities logged in the CRM appear on your calendar and calendar events flow back as activities on the right account.
calendar See and manage the calendars you can access. Identifies the calendar to sync with and keeps it consistent with the CRM, including removing a synced event when its activity is deleted or rescheduled.
userinfo.email See your primary Google Account email address. Identifies which account is connected so the calendar links to the correct Map My Customers user.
userinfo.profile See your basic Google profile. Confirms the signed-in user when linking the calendar to a Map My Customers account.
openid Verify your Google identity. Standard sign-in so we can securely associate the connection with you.

Each rep connects only their own calendar. You stay in control of this access and can review or revoke it at any time from your Google Account permissions or from your settings in Map My Customers.

How we protect your Google data

Map My Customers' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We use your Google Calendar data only to sync meetings and activities between your calendar and Map My Customers.
  • We never use Google Calendar data for advertising, and we never sell it.
  • Each rep's calendar is private. Admins and teammates do not see anyone else's calendar.
  • You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your settings in Map My Customers.
