What this app does

Map My Customers Resources is the Google Drive feature of Map My Customers. It lets teams put the documents reps need, such as sell sheets, price lists, and brochures, into Pinned Resources so they are one tap away in the field, without emailing files around or hunting through folders.

Pin Drive files to the CRM

Choose files from your Google Drive and add them as Pinned Resources so they are available to the right reps inside Map My Customers.

Stored securely, kept in sync

When you pin a file, Map My Customers saves a copy in our secure storage and keeps it in sync as the original changes in your Drive, so reps have fast, reliable access.

Available on web and mobile

Pinned files open in both the web app and the mobile app, so reps have what they need whether they are at a desk or in the field.

Read-only by design

We only read the files you choose to import. Map My Customers never edits, moves, or deletes anything in your Google Drive.

You choose what to share

Only the files added as Pinned Resources are brought in. The rest of your Drive stays untouched.

Connect Google Drive from your settings, and disconnect whenever you choose. You stay in control of your files.

Open Pinned Resources

In Map My Customers, go to Pinned Resources and choose to add a file from Google Drive.

Authorize with Google

Sign in to your Google account and review the read-only access Map My Customers Resources requests. You can disconnect at any time.

Pin and open

Select the files to pin. Reps can then open them next to the right accounts across web and mobile.

Google permissions we request and why

When you connect your Google account, Map My Customers Resources requests only the access needed to bring the files you choose into Pinned Resources. Each permission maps to a specific job in the product.

Permission What it lets us do Why we need it
drive.readonly See and download your Google Drive files. Reads the files you select so they can be imported and displayed as Pinned Resources in the web and mobile apps. This is read-only: we never modify, move, or delete your Drive files.
userinfo.email See your primary Google Account email address. Identifies which account is connected so resources link to the correct Map My Customers user.
userinfo.profile See your basic Google profile. Confirms the signed-in user when linking Google Drive to a Map My Customers account.

Access is read-only, so we never change or remove anything in your Drive. You stay in control and can review or revoke this access at any time from your Google Account permissions or from your settings in Map My Customers.

How we protect your Google data

Map My Customers' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We use your Google Drive data only to import and display the files you choose as Pinned Resources.
  • Access is read-only. We never edit, move, or delete files in your Drive.
  • We never use Google Drive data for advertising, and we never sell it.
  • You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your settings in Map My Customers.
