Pacific Smoke International is a Canadian wholesale vape distributor whose 30 field reps call on retail stores. Territory Account Manager Nadia Kharroubi covers three provinces on her own, from store visits in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, to quarter-end calls with every account in Saskatchewan.

In a territory that size, her results come down to the habits that make great reps great: detailed notes, relationships that carry from visit to visit, and follow-through on every promise. Every one of those habits takes time, and time between stops is the one thing a field rep never has enough of.

The Challenge

When logging the work takes longer than the work.

The part of the job Nadia loves is being with customers. "My least favorite part is sitting at my desk and doing the admin," she says. But every visit came with admin attached: pull over, open the account, find the record, type up the notes. Between stops that rarely made sense, so the logging waited until the next morning at her desk. Some days, she says, entering the tasks took longer than doing them.

The cost added up. Follow-ups lived in her head, leaving room for a forgotten email or a missed promise. About half her calls never made it into the CRM at all, so leadership couldn't see the real state of the territory. "If a new rep comes into my territory," she says, "they wouldn't have an accurate viewpoint of my territory."

That's the gap AI Field Agent was built to close. Over the past few months Nadia has become one of its power users, working with it every day and sharing feedback with the Map My Customers product team as new capabilities shipped.

The Solution

A field assistant that helps her on the go.

With AI Field Agent, Nadia runs her day by asking for what she needs, wherever she's parked. It handles the admin that used to wait for her desk, and it keeps getting better. It learns her accounts the more she uses it, and new capabilities ship every week based on what reps actually ask it to do: AI built for the field, not AI for AI's sake.

The time adds up. Nadia estimates she gets back at least ten hours a month, time that used to go to morning desk work and now goes to customers. Her advice for anyone starting out is to jump in headfirst and "try everything and anything." Three uses changed her day the most.

The three habits of great reps, built into her day.

After ten years of watching field sales teams work, Map My Customers kept seeing the same thing: the reps who win share three habits. Those habits are also the first to slip when a rep has a few minutes in the car between stops. AI Field Agent was built to make all three effortless, and Nadia's day shows how.

Great notes

Great reps write down everything: objections, concerns, order numbers, who was in the room. Nadia now captures that by voice right after each visit, so every conversation reaches the CRM while the details are fresh, not half of them a day later.

Relationships that carry across visits

Great reps remember what matters to each account and pick up where the last visit left off. With every call on record, each of Nadia's stores now has a full history, and leadership, or a new rep taking over the territory, can see exactly where every account stands.

Follow-through on every promise

Great reps schedule the follow-up and send the email, so nothing slips. Nadia turns each promise into a task the moment she makes it, like a reminder to email a customer first thing tomorrow, which she says keeps her "accountable to the different things that I've said."
